Life Goes On

Life goes on;

The death of a loved one,

The death of the planet.

How can we stop

and listen and learn?

You will be told

it’s impossible: things

must go on regardless.

With thirty eight degrees

the renovations continue.

What else is there to do?

Stopping won’t help the earth,

so, might as well carry on.

Every human activity now

is TOO MUCH!

Every want, desire is

helping the human race expire.

Am I anxious about it?

Yes, but there is no opt out

option in the modern world,

or so it seems. Bursting at

the seams from souls and sun,

our destruction almost done.
